Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming bout.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly happening.
